Biography
Helen Scarlett O’Neill is a site-responsive and immersive arts specialist creating work that pushes at the frontiers of spatial and participatory storytelling. Her background is as an immersive performance designer, leading the design of projects for Secret Cinema, London Contemporary Orchestra and the National Trust. Following the production of augmented reality experiences across 15 UK locations, she was appointed Senior Training and Innovation Producer at StoryFutures/CoSTAR (Royal Holloway, University of London) where she currently produces challenge-led research for the UKRI Centre for Doctoral Training in AI for Digital Media Inclusion and is involved in CoSTAR prototyping exploring the use of generative AI in improvised storytelling.
