Biography
Renée Turner is an artist and writer whose practice engages with digital narratives, personal archives, and interdisciplinary collaborative inquiry. Informed by feminist perspectives, her work explores the entanglements of sites, histories, and material encounters. She has held residencies at the Rijksakademie and the Jan van Eyck Academy and has been awarded grants from the Mondriaan Foundation and Creative Industries Fund. She is a Senior Research Lecturer at the Willem de Kooning Academy, a Fellow at V2_ Lab for the Unstable Media, a researcher within the Rotterdam Arts and Science Lab, and a doctoral researcher at LUCA’s Deep Histories, Fragile Memories unit.
