Biography

Krishna Stott is a pioneering force in innovation and interactive storytelling. With over two decades of experience pushing the boundaries of narrative and audience engagement, his work spans film, games, and transmedia. He made a global mark with Crimeface, an interactive film that won two Webby Awards, and later received the Learning on Screen Best in Year award for Bolton Storyworld, a groundbreaking participatory drama. As Creative Lead at Bellyfeel, Krishna has collaborated with the BBC, Terence Davies, and numerous universities and media organisations across the UK and Europe. He has raised over £2.5 million in funding for innovative storytelling projects and delivers talks worldwide on audience interaction, emerging media, and immersive storytelling. In 2022, he founded the Modern Audience Conference, bringing together storytellers, technologists and researchers to explore the evolving landscape of interactive and participatory media. His passion lies in creating stories that challenge, entertain, and empower audiences to play an active role in shaping narrative experiences. Krishna continues to innovate at the intersection of creativity and technology as co-creator of SiD – the AI-powered story development tool designed to ethically support writers across screen, gaming and transmedia platforms.
