Rachel Pownall

Rachel Pownall has a background in documentary filmmaking, scriptwriting and theatre. Over the past four years she has facilitated large multi-partner R&D creative technology projects. She set up Agapanthus Productions in 2021 to focus on her own creative practice and explore the intersection of storytelling and creative technology. She is a resident at The Studio in Bath, Bath Spa University’s Enterprise and Innovation hub and recently received a NET Fellowship from the university to explore the use of immersive and emerging technologies to tell stories from family letters and diaries from the early-mid C19th.
