Janet Lees

Janet Lees is a lens-based artist and poet. Her film works have been selected for many festivals and prizes, including the ZEBRA Poetry Film Festival and the Aesthetica Art Prize. In 2021 she won the Ó Bhéal International Poetry-Film Competition, and in 2022 her work featured in the landmark exhibition Poets with a Video Camera, in Vancouver. This year she is chair of the poetry film jury at the JAFEST theatre festival in Lisbon, Portugal. Her poetry has been published in many journals and anthologies, and her art photography exhibited around the world.
