Alastair Eilbeck

Alastair Eilbeck is an artist and creative consultant undertaking an AHRC-funded doctoral, practice-based research. He has a degree in Multimedia Arts from the University of Wales, and an MA in Creative Technology (distinction) from the University of Salford. His research looks into how to engage passengers in moving vehicles with locative media and mixed reality. He is currently leading a project funded by the Dept of transport and with the support of London North East Railways. The Fantasia Express is a prototype mobile application that presents Augmented reality content to passengers. Both on the table and within the landscape outside the windows. It also explores the narrative anatomy of a railway journey.
