Prof Paul Hibbard
Biography
Prof Paul Hibbard is a professor of psychology specialising in understanding visual perception. In particular, he studies how we perceive the world in three dimensions, how our senses are adapted to our natural environment, and the perception of social cues. He applies this to research in virtual and augmented reality, having worked with Facebook Reality Labs, and with the development of immersive virtual reality experiences for theatre. He is also interested in the inclusive design and development of digital technology.
