Nicole Basaraba


Nicole Basaraba is a PhD candidate in Digital Humanities at Trinity College Dublin, Ireland, supported by the world-class ADAPT Centre. Her research focuses on the evaluation of and best practices for creating multimodal, interactive digital narratives in non-fiction genres. She is currently examining how participatory digital culture impacts storytelling practices in cultural heritage tourism. Nicole has an MA in Communications and Technology from the University of Alberta, Canada, she lectures in digital media and comparative literature courses, and her research is published in Logos: Journal for the World Publishing Community, Frontiers of Narrative Studies, and Springer’s Lecture Notes in Computer Science Proceedings.
