Biography

After a career developing the user experience for BBC Red Button services, free to air services (FreeView & YouView) and iPlayer, Maxine Glancy is currently working in Research & Development, exploring the impact of emerging technologies on BBC services, audiences and production. Researching and developing innovative user experiences incorporates many themes, which currently includes object-based media, immersive media, interactive storytelling, AR/VR and mixed reality experiences. Maxine’s previous work has explored multi-screen experiences, new editorial & broadcasting formats, UGC frameworks, ubiquitous computing, media behaviour modelling. Maxine is currently undertaking a PhD at the University of Nottingham.
