Dr Loes Van Dam
Biography
Dr Loes Van Dam is a senior lecturer of psychology who studies multisensory perception and action, that is how we combine the senses of seeing, hearing and touch in a coherent percept of our surroundings and how we use this information to guide our actions. In her work, she uses tools like eye tracking and Virtual Reality and she has previously won research awards from Facebook Reality Labs. Through her work on Virtual Reality, she has become involved in investigating how this tool can be used to enhance theatre productions.
